CAP for Physicians CME Program

CAP for Physicians measures current clinical practices in a physician's office and compares the physician's outcomes measures to those of peers and to national measures. At the completion of a CAP module, the physician is awarded 20 credits of AOA Category 1-B continuing medical education.

Before proceeding, please read the following to ensure you understand the process of this program.

  • Once you register for a CAP for Physicians’ module, you have initiated the program, and you are considered a program participant. Please make sure that you plan on completing the program before you decide to register.

  • Once you reach the intervention phase in Stage B, you will enter a 30-day delay period, during which you will have to wait to implement your intervention.

  • This program is a CME program. At the completion of the program you will be awarded 20 credits of AOA Category 1-B CME.

PLEASE NOTE:  The AOA Clinical Assessment Program (CAP) will close on June 30, 2018.  You must complete all data entry and finish your module(s) before this date in order to receive your certificate of participation and CME credits if applicable.  New registrations will not be accepted after March 30, 2018.  If you have any questions, please contact us at cap@osteopathic.org .
