CME Publications and Web Programs


The Journal of the American Osteopathic Association is the AOA's monthly peer-reviewed scientific publication. Each of the JAOA's quizzes provides two credits of AOA Category 1-B continuing medical education.

AOA Health Watch is a continuing medical education publication that provides updates, treatment plans, and some of the latest news and developments on such timely topics as immunizations and type 2 diabetes mellitus.

AOA CAP for PQRS

The CAP for PQRS 2015 program is now closed and the 2016 CAP for PQRS program will be available in late Spring 2016. If you are inquiring about the status of your 2015 PQRS report, we anticipate that this information will be available on the CMS QualityNet website in September/October 2016.

AOA CAP for Physicians

The CAP for Physicians program measures current clinical practices in a physician's office and compares the physician's outcomes measures to those of their peers and to national measures. At the completion of a CAP module, the physician is awarded 20 credit hours of AOA Category 1-B continuing medical education.
